Buying outdoor photographic gear for wildlife photography can be extremely expensive. How ever when you have a passion, we just go for it. Before breaking your bank, you have to ask yourself, do I need to spend than much money on a lens or on a gimbal head tripod. So the best thing to do is start with what you have. Hopping that you have a dslr. most of the entry level cameras comes with kit lenses so try them out first. The 70-300mm and so on. or borrow it from some friends and use it for a few days and see what you feel for them and make a decision.


Once you made up your mind and you got the urge to take you gear to the wild. Then just close your eyes and enjoy the journey,

As you read the above mentioned items. The next step is to master them, you should know every thing about them and all the bells and whistles and so on. Lenses, focus points, shutter speeds, ISO, aperture. Play with them and try to get a good results, every time you shoot. Practice and do it more. Here time is the key for getting a good picture. And you have to be ready with your eyes wide open.


Have a general idea about what you will be shooting and the behaviors. This will give you an upper hand in finding the best hiding spots and increasing you chances. It will also give you a good chance of getting a more interesting picture. For example, some birds like to come to the same branch after catching their prays, so if you know that, you can be ready and get a pin pointed crispier image.

What keeps my fire going is that I try to learn more about the animals which I shoot or even the plants. all of them have special characters, which is really mind blowing. So try to learn about them and you will be amazed by what you see. Other thing is that, it's a great form of mediation and clears our mind and gives us freedom.
