Things to Check After Servicing Your KTM Duke (bike)

Hi guys, Things to Check After Servicing Your KTM Duke (bike)

As a proud KTM owner I have noticed some unusual phenomenons regarding services and quality given by the company.

First thing you have to do is to note your kilometers and keep the numbers checked, so that the guys who are servicing your bike wont take it for a long ride, its actually common. s
o please check the meter and keep it in mind. Check all the things that has been need to be done had be done.

Make sure if the bike is properly clean and the chain is correctly tightened and lubed properly.

Find the center point of the chain between the front and rear sprockets. Push up on the bottom part of the chain and note the distance between the lower position and the upper position on the bottom. Make sure its not too tight nor too loose.

Check for marks or scuffs  and totally inspect the body and cross check with the bill and so on.

The things is that one of my friend who was a ktm 390 owner, did get into to issue with the poor quality servicing. the story goes as so on, after the process was done. he checked the bikes oil it was a bit under the min mark. he asked the guys there and they said it will come back to normal after the engine been after rest, when he reached home that didn't happen, even though it doesn't sound like a big issue, for proper running of the motorcycle the that indicated amount is required and we cannot compromise it, overtime will lead to huge engine tear problems. So take care and make sure we have enough fresh colored oil is filled and is up to the mark or in the middle between the min and max marking on the body.

Take care, safe ride.
